Good Night Issac Hayes and Bernie Mac

Issac Hayes left this plane over the weekend, but his spirit and music will live on. He is certainly an inspiration to me. Sleep well brother.

Also, we lost Bernie Mac this weekend. He was just 50. While not a musician, his comedy approach tapped deeply into the souls of black-folk. He was deeply committed to family and community, (he was from Chicago, but was deeply involved in the Los Angeles community as well. He will be sorely missed.

Blessed by the new friendships in this space. . .

I haven't posted a blog here yet, (more that a little late I know lol), but I wanted to publicly say thank you to the new friends who have found me here, and to the old ones who I was able to re-acquaint myself with. This is indeed a special, soul-ful place, in an often soul-less internet world. Much love and music to you all. Please let's keep in touch. Allow me to share "Out of Time" with you, a new track in my player.
