- JL holds the record for the longest running UK soul radio show on any one station. For over 15 years he reigned supreme bringing the music to the ears of an adoring public and achieved cult status. JL now holds court to a global audience from his own studios via syndication, pod-casting and via the net. His 'groove orientated' style ranges from nu-jazz & soul to chill, lounge, latin, hip-hop, african, funk & RnB. His name should be next to the word 'eclectic' in the dictionary. His 'off the wall' broadcasting allows listeners a real glimpse of the artist behind their music & can claim fame for interviewing the Sounds Of Blackness in the White House! An experienced music journalist for over 10 years with a number of magazines to his credit, JL also contributes to a number of leading music sites in the UK and the States, including StraightOuttaNow.com! He's founded a children's cancer charity, set up a compassionate care programme in conjunction with Disneyland Paris and is passionate about the human condition, viewing music as giving soul to the universe.
