- Welcome to my SoulCommune page. Thanks for stopping by. I'm here to help keep soul music alive as a fan and as an artist. For those of you who don't know, I am the bass player and a poet in the jazz/funk/spoken word band, Miles Long, with two independently distributed CD's, "the miles long mixtape" and "Love & Other Social Issues."
