Awww about me...ok here's a lil slice...I was born in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins Hospital then they became world renowned...I'm the 2nd of 4 children of Joan n James Robinson... My daddy loved to take pictures and my mother loved music...As a lil kid i was listening to the Jackson 5, The Supremes, The Temps, Roberta Flack and Tom Jones....lol thanxs to my Mom...
Think back to when I first discovered the radio I was in the 6th grade...right around the time we got our first video game by Nintendo... I was listening to Olivia Newton John and Barry Manilow...until following after my older sister moving the knob down to the R&B station WWIN which is now owned by Radio One...it was all over then...
I fell head over heels in love with Rufus and Chaka Khan, The Commodores, Heatwave, Earth Wind and Fire, Norman Connors and his array of Divas Phyllis Hyman, Jean Carn, Ms Adartha, Roy Ayers....I could go on and on...The first album I brought thanks to allowance was Stretching Out In Boosty"s Rubber BAnd the first 45 I brought was ...dang I can't remember...But I still have all of my LP"S and 45's...
While my sister was buying clothes with her money I was buying music.
